Bone Grafting

FAQ’s on Bone Grafting Procedures

  • What is bone grafting for dental implants?

Bone grafting rebuilds jawbone that’s been lost due to tooth loss, periodontal disease, or trauma. Dr. Nik uses your own bone, donor bone of human or animal origin  to recreate a solid base - restoring structure and giving you a foundation for implants that feels natural and lasts.

  • How much does bone grafting cost?

Costs vary depending on what you need. After a thorough clinical evaluation and a full 3D scan, we’ll give you a transparent quote so you understand each step. We also discuss options - like using your bone or donor materials - to find a solution that works for your budget and your smile goals.

  • Is bone grafting painful?

Most patients are surprised by how easy it is. Performed with sedation or local anaesthesia, you feel no pain. After, there may be mild swelling or tenderness, but this passes in a few days. Comfort is our top priority - you’ll get clear aftercare instructions and support until you feel well again.

  • Are different types of bone grafts available?

Yes. Depending on your needs, we may use your own bone harvested from other areas of your jaws, bone from of human origin , or bone of animal origin.During your consultation appointment, Dr  Nik will present all your options including the specific approach  best for your case -so you know exactly what to expect before we start.
