Dr. Nik consults and treats patients across multiple private clinics/practices. Where you book treatment or receive care at a specific clinic, that clinic may operate its own appointment processes, fees, and policies.

create a clinician–patient relationship, or
mean a case will be accepted.
Case acceptance depends on clinical suitability, available information, risks, timing, and capacity. We may request additional information before confirming next steps.
5) Professional referrals and uploads (important)
If you are a dentist, oral surgeon, or other healthcare professional using our referral pathways (including any “refer a patient” form, upload facility, or email submission), the following terms apply:
5.1 Authority to share information
You confirm that you have the appropriate lawful basis and authority to share the patient’s information with Dr. Nikolas Vourakis for the purposes of triage, consultation, treatment planning, and (where accepted) providing care. This includes any duty of confidentiality obligations and data protection requirements applicable to you and your practice.
5.2 Minimum necessary information
You agree to share only information that is relevant and necessary for referral and clinical assessment. Please avoid uploading unnecessary third-party personal data.
5.3 Accuracy of information
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate, up to date, and clearly labelled (including dates, tooth notation, and whether materials are preliminary or final). Clinical decisions require verification and may still depend on further examination and investigations.
5.4 Confidential materials and security
We treat referral materials as confidential and handle them in accordance with our Privacy Policy. However, no internet transmission is completely secure. By uploading or submitting information, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of online transmission. 5.5 Malware and prohibited content

the referring clinician for clarification, and/or
the patient (where appropriate) to arrange consultation steps.
Where clinically appropriate, we may provide progress updates to the referrer. We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete information, inability to contact a patient, or external clinic scheduling constraints.
5.7 No referral fee expectation
Unless explicitly agreed in writing, submitting a referral does not create any entitlement to referral fees, payments, commissions, or other benefits.
5.8 Indemnity (professional referrals)
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dr. Nikolas Vourakis against losses arising from:
unauthorised disclosure of patient information by you,
your failure to obtain appropriate permissions/authority, or
infringement caused by materials you upload (e.g., third-party ownership claims).
6) Patient self-referrals and uploads
If you submit a self-referral, enquiry, or upload clinical images/scans:
You confirm you have the right to share that content.
You understand that initial review is informational and does not replace a full clinical assessment.
We may recommend that you obtain additional imaging or records from your dentist/clinic.
7) Acceptable use
You must not use this Website:
unlawfully, fraudulently, or in a way that causes harm,
to attempt unauthorised access to the Website or its systems,
to scrape or harvest data, content, images, or patient materials,
to transmit spam, malware, or harmful code.
We may restrict or terminate access to the Website if we reasonably believe these Terms are breached.
8) Intellectual property and copyright
Unless stated otherwise, all Website content is owned by or licensed to Dr. Nikolas Vourakis, including text, design, graphics, logos, videos, and downloadable resources.
