Dental Implants & Bone Grafting
Case Study 4
This patient came to us with a damaged and discoloured upper left canine tooth. The upper left lateral incisor had an implant placed 7 years ago.
We carefully removed the old canine tooth and immediately placed a new implant in its place, ensuring it was positioned perfectly. To support the surrounding tissues, we used a bone graft and tissue graft from the roof of the mouth.
A temporary tooth was placed on a titanium abutment while the area healed. After 10 weeks, we replaced it with a custom zirconia restoration. The final result shows healthy, stable tissue, especially around the older implant.
