Case Study 8
This patient had bone regeneration in the front part of the lower jaw using a method called the Khoury plate technique. A 4mm thick bone block was taken from the back of the jaw and split into two plates. Bone particles were placed in the treatment area and secured with mini screws. A special membrane was used to protect the bone, and healing was supported with additional membranes.
The soft tissue was carefully closed without tension. A temporary bridge was placed, and after 4 weeks, the area showed excellent healing with no complications during suture removal.
