Bridge Based Solution with Custom PMMA Sleeve

Case Study 3

CASE DESCRIPTION:

The patient presented with a failing upper dentition, necessitating a comprehensive and predictable full-arch rehabilitation to restore both function and aesthetics. Given the extent of deterioration, a fixed implant-supported solution was selected to provide long-term stability and improved patient confidence. Through a structured and patient-focused treatment plan, Dr. Nik was able to deliver a seamless transition from compromised dentition to a fully restored smile.

Applying advanced digital planning and surgical precision, Dr. Nik placed six Conelog Progressive dental implants from BioHorizons in strategically ideal positions. Careful attention was given to implant angulation, distribution, and primary stability to support an immediate loading protocol. This meticulous approach ensured a strong foundation for both provisional and definitive restorations while minimising surgical invasiveness.

A key benefit of this treatment was the immediate loading phase, where the implants were restored on the same day with a composite provisional prosthesis. This allowed the patient to regain function, phonetics, and aesthetics immediately following surgery, significantly enhancing comfort and satisfaction during the healing period while also guiding soft tissue adaptation.

For the definitive restoration, Dr. Nik utilised the Bridge Base Solution by Atlantis, combining a custom PMMA sleeve with a titanium framework to achieve an optimal balance of aesthetics and long-term strength. The PMMA sleeve was expertly designed by Gosia Ciepiela, a certified dental technician, ensuring exceptional fit, durability, and a highly natural final result tailored to the patient’s individual anatomy.
